Fused glass offers a different approach to stained and leaded glass design and can offer a lighter and more modern design. It is a technique where separate pieces of glass are melted together to form a single shape. Fused glass can be formed into almost any shape. It can be used as lighting, glass tiles, windows or incorporated into a leaded glass panels. Melting glass in this way was first recorded by the Egyptians 3,600 yrs ago.
